Bob Nanna put an entry on The Wire advertising that if someone in columbia brought(bought) him the new modest mouse cd, that they would get two spots on the guest list for their show. How could I not take advantage of that opportunity?

The show was really sad. Hey Mercedes was great, but the other bands weren't so hot. Grandaddy is boring. All of their songs sound the same, and their singer is lyrically inept. Saves the Day was awful! They are so boring, and they played too many new songs, and Chris got way fat. Brian and I left early.

The show was chock full of high school kids and frat guys. I felt very out of place. I only saw one other person that I knew.

Still, now I have a note from bob nanna (he left before we could meet him) in my moleskine and it was nice to meet his... merch guy. Well, the merch guy (dave) was cool. Could have been worse.
