Chris Hires tells you about places he has been: Lincoln, Nebraska
Lincoln Nebraska is a cold, windy place. The atmosphere is soaked with a feeling of static, a feeling that this place has transfixed itself in a moment in time and it will not move forward until you or someone you know provides them with a good enough reason for doing so.
When we were arriving in Lincoln, Nebraska (at approximately 10pm) it was so cold and windy that pieces of corn were blowing across the road, and I had to dodge them with my car. Think about THAT for a minute.
Ok.
So Nebraska is a cold, windy, static place where corn blows across the road. All of these elements combined have the unique effect of causing visitng football teams to embarass the fans who love them so much. Fumbled punts, interceptions, no folly was too great for the Missouri Tigers on that miserable Saturday morning.
Because of all of these things, I will advise you to never go to Lincoln, for it is a very cold, windy, static place that causes visiting football teams to lose in the most tragic of ways.
