New York is nothing short of amazing so far. Brooklyn is a really great place, it always feels friendly. Last night we ate at Sea, which is where they filmed the restaraunt scene in Garden State. Then we went to a gallery opening, just in time for the open bar to run out. So we went and got alcohol and then just brought it to the gallery. One of the guys from Tv on the Radio was there (the guy with the huge hair/beard). Afterwards we hung out this girl Naomi's house, and discussed all sorts of things. Then there was a house part in this old storefront thing but since I'd been up since 5am I was pretty out of it and pretty much sat in the same chair the whole time. Also, Tunde from Tv on the Radio was at the party.

Today I got lunch with Alyssa and then walked around the Union Square area for a while. Bought some books at The Strand, which is a book store that covers 8 square miles. Then Alyssa and I met with Bianca and Naomi and trapsed all over the the east village, noho, soho, chinatown, tribeca, and others. It was fun, but I got really tired from walking pretty much all day. The Prada store is the most amazing thing I've ever seen, by the way.

Going out again tonight, though I'm already tired and I doubt I'll last long.
