Let's Move To The Desert

I'm not a particularly soap-boxy blogger, so I won't really say alot about all of this Hurricane stuff. Still, everyone who works for the government that has been perpetuating this debacle should have to watch this (Exerpt from Meet The Press, MichaelMoore.com, via Devil In The Details). so that it may weigh upon their conscience for the rest of their lives. Still, for those of you who might have lost faith in Americans or human beings, something should be said for the volunteers who are giving aid to all of these victims. On Saturday I walked into an entire parking garage filled with clothing, food, water, etc. There were nearly as many volunteers as there were refugees, and everyone I talked to was so gracious to the volunteers and the entire city of Dallas for the seemingly endless amount of support its citizens have been showing for them. Three days later, I still feel good about being there and seeing it.

In other news, the white party went well. Lot's of shit got stolen, including my 50 Cent record (the cops caught him leaving the party, and brought it back to me). A blacklight from the banannas house was stolen, as was the tap for the keg. Someone took a shit in Alex's bathtub, and I guess that's how you know it was a good party. We're looking to do it again in the future, so stay tuned for exciting announcements.

Thought I'd let you know that I mentioned this party offhandedly to another one of the interns and I guess she ended up having a white party somewhere in Alabama over the weekend. Look at that, you influenced some southerners...

awwwwww. Little known fact: Southerners will actually do anything you tell them. The civil war was started by one guy in south carolina who one day said (while drunk) "Y'all should secede... or somethin." The next week, fuckin balls out war was on.
