Kindness – Swingin’ Party
Found this gem in Mighty Mouse’s February mix (I told you, they give away tons of great stuff). In case you don’t know, the original version of this song is done by one of my favorite bands ever, The Replacements. This version is a hell of a lot more minimal and weird, but a very awesome disco track nonetheless. I imagine it going over perfectly at about 3:30am. Don’t know much about Kindness ‘cept that they’re split between countries (England and Germany) and their myspace features some cool tripped out lo-fi disco. Hopefully we get to hear more from them soon.
